Dear parent/guardian,

We have the opportunity for children to join an after school/lunchtime club where they can enjoy a brand new digital adventure game with a twist – and it’s FREE! This club is being run by [Your charity or organisation name], an organisation who visit school regularly to assist with leading worship assemblies.

Guardians of Ancora is a world-class tablet game for 8- to 11-year-olds offering an amazing virtual world and an immersive interactive experience of Bible stories. It combines the excitement and creativity of a high-spec online game with an immersive experience of Bible content and faith formation. Players go on an exciting journey that will lead them through the virtual world of Ancora, as they explore the stories of the Bible and find out what knowing God for themselves is all about.

The game is played on a tablet computer and children enter this virtual world as Guardians of the city called Ancora (meaning ‘anchor’ and ‘hope and support’). Their challenge is to find the Bible stories that have been lost. Find out more at http://guardiansofancora.com/.

The club will be limited to ten children with the possibility of new clubs, depending on popularity. Each child will be using a school tablet computer and we will then guide them through the Bible stories with fun and engaging activities which run alongside the game.

If you are happy for your child to have a Guardians of Ancora game account, so they can save their progress from week to week or even play the game at home, please give your email address on the form below, so you are the one to receive an automatic verification email. (There is no cost involved and the game has no subscription or in-app purchases.) If you would prefer not to have an account, your child will still be able to play the game and enjoy the club.

The club would last for [add timings] minutes after school/at lunchtime on [add days] starting [add start date]. The last session will be on [add end date].

Please fill in the permission form below if you would like your child to be involved in this exciting new club.

Yours sincerely,
