People of all ages need to know that they are welcome within the worshipping community of the church. Children particularly can sometimes feel that real church is what the adults do after they have left the service for a peer group session. Coming together regularly, for times of worship and learning, with people of several different generations, encourages a biblical understanding of the importance that God has placed on the church.
An all-age service provides children with a model which will help them grow into mature worshippers as they are enabled to participate alongside adults, teenagers and other children. Featuring Guardians of Ancora in an all-age service puts children in their ‘comfort zone’ and encourages them to share their own experience of faith in ways which are both simple and profound.
